I spend many hours browsing the interwebs in search for garments I could only dream of owning.
Cape town is by far the most beautiful place I have ever been. This is not only because I live here and feel the need to defend my country and home town. It is just THIS beautiful…
I wish SA could make the leap and get involved with retail suppliers abroad though- shopping in this country is limited - extremely limited.
We are so focussed on keeping it local that we end up with all the same designs from local designers with imported materials. If you buy anything imported it is 4 times the price and the stock is old.
It might not seem grand but what i wouldn’t give for good old H&M in our country!
Nevertheless I wouldn’t mind shopping at the metropolitan for this 1939 Vionnet Black lace/pink lame’ master piece…..
Never stop dreaming big!
Breathless at the feet of constraint, my lungs close up to the possibility of expanding. Consumed under a storming sea of drowning thoughts. The water subsides and a clear reflection submerges, undeniable. The journey will lead to my broken heart. Steering as the master of my independence. This route cannot be shared with another.
